Setting up the LIVE SD7 is fast and easy. Just mount and plug in the cameras, plug in the LCD monitor/receiver, and you're done! You can place the LCD monitor on any flat surface, or use the included mounting kit to mount it on a wall or underneath a counter. The cameras can be installed indoors or outdoors and are automatically paired with the LCD monitor for fast, hassle-free setup.
SD Card recording
The LIVE SD7 Wireless Digital Security System offers more than just wireless monitoring. It features an integrated SD card recorder! Record single channel audio and video directly to the the included SD card. On-screen icons tell you when you have a new file on the SD card, or when the SD card is full. You can view and manage recorded files directly on the system!

Intercom for 2-way communication

Wireless security cameras with night vision and motion detection
Never miss a thing with the included day/night indoor/outdoor wireless security cameras. With an indoor wireless range of 150 feet and an outdoor range of 450 feet, these security cameras are perfect for any recording environment. The wireless signal is 100% secure and interference-free. Automatic night vision lets you see up to 40 feet in total darkness. Last but not least, the cameras also come equipped with temperature-based motion sensors. I am a retired Techno-Geek, a geezer-geek if you will. I have bought and installed countless systems in my time, but from a particularly excellent performance vs. especially easy installation vs. fantastic worth basis, this is a single superb tiny process. A lot of excellent thought has gone into designing it, and it worked perfectly upon installation. Someone in one evaluation complained of the blurry camera - but the cams come with a protective plastic film more than the lense -)
This little rig has a nifty little remote that will permit you to choose motion record or continious record, and all of the functions - this is extremely cool. The technique took me about 15 minutes to get turned on to check the functions of everything, and one other 2 or three hours to choose the position of the cameras at the back and front of the house. Once positioned, all I had to do was to plug them in and turn them on.
The only complaint I May have is, I would like to see the camera power cables a foot or two longer to aid with camera placement. I will be extending a single cable my self. Possibly Lorex could sell or include a single EXTENTION power cable of about two feet in length. T
he audio speaker is not rather loud, nor is the alarm. It won't wake you up from a sound sleep, but if you are in your office operating, it will let you know that the UPS person is at the door. A main crucial to this method is "how pretty, particularly effortless it is to set up and install to get beneficial results."
Camera to screen (I adore the small screen on my night table) range is about 50 to 75 feet. Yeah, we would all enjoy to have a cam to screen range of 300 to 1,000 ft, but that is beyond the potential of most technologies correct not. This is a beneficial small house/light commercial system. I program to get one other one for my wife's organization.

I got this program from Costco for $299.99. Functions excellent proper out of the box. Good range on the cameras. Mine are 60 feet or so apart on opposite sides of the house and I get superior reception anyplace inside on the receiver. Night vision range is superior then expected. I am not using the audio feature, so I cannot comment on it. I want to add two additional cameras, but there $170 each and every from Lorex, so it's more affordable to decide to buy a second method from Costco and keep the second receiver as a backup. Upgrade to a 16 GB card ($35 on Amazon) and get 24 hours of video recording.
