The 45233 Wireless Color Camera capabilities Night Vision technology. Objects and images can be observed in small or no light up to 10 ft. The camera uses a specific image sensor that automatically detects attainable light levels. It turns on/off the Infra-Red (IR) LEDs on the front of the camera. These LEDs deliver artificial light that makes it possible for the camera to see in the dark. Night Vision will appear as a Black and White image. When the image sensor detects adequate light, color will return to the pictures.

I purchased this unit to add to the wireless camera technique that I had bought locally. This is the secondary camera for the Wireless Color Camera with Receiver 45234 ([...]). Initial of all, the price tag was the lowest that I had found. Shipping was Rapidly. Unit came properly packed and in fantastic condition. Straightforward to hook up. Just mount it in your desired place, plug it in, and set the viedo input selector on the receiver. Mine is connected to a tv and vcr player/recorder. Camera image is identical to the original one particular in the wireless camera system. If you program to use this unit at night, do not mount it in a window, as the night vision lights will only reflect back into the camera. Consequently, either use it for interior purposes, or mount it in a sheltered location outside. Mine is mounted over the entry door on a covered porch, so there is no weather exposure challenges. If you require an extension for the 8' power cord, the distributor ([...]) can sell you a 15' extension cable for the camera. You may well need to have the item number to research this: Wireless Color Camera 45233. They also carry a battery pack that they say lasts up to 5 hrs. I am particularly happy with my acquire.
